This page explains how to manage the Kiuwan Local Analyzer (KLA) engine version and central analysis configuration.
Lock Engine
To manage your engine version, go to Account Management > Engine.
By default, Kiuwan Local Analyzer (KLA) uses the latest available engine version whenever you run an analysis. However, you can lock the engine version to prevent automatic updates.
- Lock the engine: When you lock the engine, KLA will continue to use the current version of the analysis engine, even if fewer versions become available. This ensures consistency across your analyses, particularly useful for maintaining stable and reproducible results over time.
-
Unlock the engine: You can unlock the engine at any time by returning to this page and disabling the lock. When you unlock the engine, KLA will automatically update to the latest engine version the next time you run an analysis.
Central Analysis Configuration
This section lets you centrally manage and distribute your customized analysis configuration for all Kiuwan Local Analyzer instances.
Upload a configuration
Upload a ZIP file with the analysis configuration extracted from your Kiuwan Local Analyzer, once you have customized it to your needs. You may upload it with its MD5 checksum to ensure the integrity of its contents. If you don't upload it, Kiuwan will calculate such a checksum for you.
Once uploaded, this configuration will be automatically synchronized by all Kiuwan Local Analyzer instances, so you don't have to do it every time you download a brand new copy of KLA. You can also download the latest version of the ZIP file uploaded if you want to check its contents.
For detailed instructions on how to create and package your custom configuration, refer to the Centralized analysis configuration documentation.
