Install and Start Up Kiuwan Local Analyzer (KLA)

Windows / MacOS

1. Before you start, make sure you meet the installation requirements
2. Download the ZIP file from the Kiuwan website
3. Extract all the files from the ZIP file
4. Open the folder and run kiuwan.cmd (for Windows) or kiuwan.sh (for Mac)
   
5. Run your first scan

Linux / Unix

Under Unix systems, please check:

• You will need to change permissions for shell scripts.
  • Use a command such as "chmod +x *.sh" to apply permissions.
• Please verify the following permissions of the Unix user running Kiuwan Local Analyzer:
  • read/write permissions on AGENT_HOME/*
  • read permissions on the directory of source code to be analyzed by Kiuwan
